Peyton Waters, Sr. — President

If there's anyone who personifies "the way the oil industry used to be" it's Peyton Waters. After graduation from Tulane University in 1951 (BBA) he dived right into the oilpatch. Waters joined National Supply at its Harvey, Louisiana store and over the years progressed into upper management. During his career at National, he became familiar with every aspect of the supply and manufacture of drilling rig equipment. He moved through every division in the company, from rig supply through manufacturing, learning the real-world needs of the drilling sector and becoming an expert in drilling machinery. After many years with National, Peyton Waters left National Supply to start Waters International in 1970. His expertise and reputation for the supply of quality new and used drilling equipment quickly gained a significant customer base and has been the driving force behind the company.
